About the Program


At St. Lawrence College, high school students have the opportunity to experience a post-secondary education, without the financial investment. In one unique semester, grade 11, 12, or victory lap students can gain 4 high-school credits, as well as an additional 3 college credits, and it's completely free!

A dedicated classroom at St. Lawrence, equipped with iMac computers for every student, will give students a chance to learn from 3 college professors, as well as an L.D.S.B. teacher.

IMC@SLC is a focus, dual credit program run at St. Lawrence through La Salle. Here they will learn what real college deadlines are like better preparing them for the transition into college; making it that much easier. Students will be at St. Lawrence from February until June, Students are taught how to create promotional material, as well as marketing and culture using social media.

This course will follow the LDSB calendar and is of no cost to the student; even the transportation will be covered. Students earn three college credits in Media and Culture, Marketing, and Computer Applications, and 4 high school credits in Business, Computer Tech, Communications, and an additional Co-Op credit.

If you need a change from your high school environment, and want to prepare for the future become a part time student at St. Lawrence College while still being a high school student at La Salle. You will never have to step foot through the doors of high school while here.
